I cannot remember a single LED bulb ever failing on me. When I moved in to my current house 6 years ago about 20 bulbs/spots were already LED’s and I replaced another 10 with LED.
None have failed, not the old and not the new ones.
Don’t buy the cheapest crap and you’re good.

Both are designed to fail. For LED bulbs it’s the electronics (‘driver’) that usually fails, not the LEDs.

That depends on the price tag, I guess. I’ve had
cheapbudget LED bulbs failing which I had barely used before.
