They’re doing to others what people did to them for centuries. It’s like they think it’s a curse they can jettison onto someone else if they just torture hard enough. They’re the most evil people on earth right now, and we are all watching it in HD. I don’t think they appreciate how permanently toast their reputation is. They will never enjoy peace again, nor the benefit of the doubt, nor respect.

Don’t kid yourself, they were very good at settling each other as well. Or did you think they were all one uniform group?

Somehow I don’t think that justifies the near complete wipeout of native peoples and cultures across an entire continent.

Fair, but often we depict the Natives as some kind of vegan kumbaya hippies that held hands and hugged each other…

Responding to mentions of atrocities being committed with angry declarations that the victim(s) were/are not perfectly moral - beyond just being in poor taste - can be reasonably interpreted as offering justification or excuse for said atrocities. What you’re doing is no different from chuds saying “he was no saint!” about someone who was killed by a cop, except in scale.

It’s fine to talk about things Native Americans had historically done to one another, but not as a knee-jerk reaction to mentions of the genocide done to them by European settlers.

Regardless, we had moved beyond the mob viloence as the standard of the world … for a while.

Then MAGA and we are back to the beating, the burning, and the killing.

And it was all to protect oil profits and pedophiles worldwide.

Settlers hey. Well that’s all OK then and not at all criminal, inhumane, or any other reason to take Israel to task, or to even ask any questions about it at all.
