Brain stimulation devices have been marketed as a drug-free alternative to ADHD medication. But a major new UK trial found no evidence they work.

In this case sham is British for placebo. Only the control group got the “sham tns”.

  I realise that, my point is that the “sham TNS” may be acting as active TNS.
