This is is incredibly niche, but I need some advice on how to get PICBASIC PRO working on Arch. Is there a dedicated IDE that I don’t know about? I need a way to program this and then compile and send to chips etc (I have the hardware for that). Making a VM specifically for this would be far from ideal. If anyone has some advice, I’d be very appreciative.

    PIC fan eh 😁

Just switch to Atmega and C/C++!

Just kidding, I don’t know of a linux version of pic basic, but you could still program on your arch, but compile on windoze. For example through a shared folder. You could probably automate it too, to compile when there are changes etc.

    Good luck!

Thanks! Also, your reply doesn’t show up anywhere but my inbox. Is the .zip domain cursed like it used to be?

Just the web UI. It also does this via Voyager, and Jerboa lists comments as “no record of this commend”
