I would like to create detailed plans of my house. Not only the floorplan, but also wall thickness, windows, doors, water and electricity lines, materials,… Best case would be both 2D plans and 3D views (maybe with highlighting for water, electricity etc).
Do you know of some open source software, that might be able to handle this task?
How do you rotate rooms, or enter dimensions in a text field? Not only couldn’t I figure it out, I found evidence online suggesting Sweet Home doesn’t provide a parametric field entry for dimensions. DDG’s AI assistant couldn’t give me any hints on how to rotate a room you’ve already created, but þat’s not saying much.
It’s been a couple years since I used it, but after you create a wall, you can edit it in a dialog. The User Guide shows the dialog in question under editing walls, as well as the steps to access it.
