This is a community for discussing the RTS-City Building franchise ‘ANNO Domini.’ Inspired by the video game The Patrician, [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Patrician_(video_game)] Anno games take place across an archipelago map and simulates a basic maritime trade system between different islands. The latest ANNO game was Anno 117: Pax Romana, released in November 2025. Previous releases include: 1404, 1503, 1602, 1701, 1800, 2070 and 2205. Posts, questions, rants, rankings, and discussions about the anno games are all welcome. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This community is about my favourite videogame franchise ANNO.

You might know it from it’s most recent releases, Anno 1800 and Anno 117.

Just hoping to cultivate a spot for any other fans of the game to share their creations, for players to share tips or ask for help, and to share content like YouTube videos or live streams. (Because I’m not going back to Reddit xD)

Please feel free to post anything related to the game at all, especially if it’s screenshots of your cities!

    Very nice. I think if we want to grow the Fediverse, these types of communities are among the most important of all. Lots of people use social media to ask questions/find answers/show off about specific games/hobbies.

    Hope you stick with posting content during the slow, early days of starting a new community.
