I have been to an international school in egypt (british) North coast, and I live in a gated community.
Basically you would I guess see me as that privileged person in egypt which yea you are not wrong Well I would I think be privileged compared to the average egyptian living in egypt which would be like where you go to a national school and that you live in a normal area (Basically no gated communities) so yeah
And yes I’m 17 years old right now so yeah that too also I know this doesn’t fully fit here sorry but still
How bad is it for average people compared to your situation in Egypt? I hear politics and economy isn’t great over there
I have a joke for you: Why are there Pyramids in Egypt? Because they wouldn’t fit in the British museum.

Outside the gated community, do you find it hard to “fit in” with the general community at times because of your background? We Americans don’t get a lot of exposure to Egypt much outside of media like Indiana Jones or Moon Knight (which, despite having scenes set in Cairo, wasn’t filmed in Egypt as far as I know).

good though we don’t really get snow or atleast alot of snow unfortunately
So it’s cold-ish? I’ve never been to any Mediterranean coast so I don’t know what it’s like, not any time of year nor Winter. Does your family travel elsewhere a lot?
