Rowing (or even getting out to swim and pull) is safer if you have enough people, because we can’t safely make and power engines. Like they’re gonna have a fleet of oceangoing cargo ships, each towed by a massive team of willing humans, all while escaping the dastardly pirates and their motorboats.
