Many Gen Z people are tired of dating apps, but haven’t had the same opportunities to build in-person social skills that some of us older folks take for granted.
What activities are those, that would involve the opportunity for dates. I know lots of great activities that I do all the time but people who share in those activities aren’t looking for dates.
Depends on the bar obviously (and you can usually get a good idea without needing to be told) but there are loads of bars where you’re the weirdo for not being there to meet people
I do remember hearing about “singles bars” back in the 80s before I was of age. I assumed they’d faded away, but could be they just weren’t in my area or weren’t in my scene…
Believe it or not there are all kinds of activities you can participate in with other people that don’t involve alcohol.
Sadly for me sitting on the sofa like a lump at home isnt one of them.
