I just made a doctor’s appointment I’ve been supposed to make for three years. I figured the folks here would appreciate the weight that has been lifted. I don’t even know if the doctor can help but at least I’m doing something.

That’s how I feel and I’m somewhat positive I don’t have adhd. I mean do you have any idea how much effort it is to do one thing, when “doing nothing” means (at least according to my girlfriend) at minimum selling 8 hours of my day + commute, walk the dog, clean the cat’s litterbox, filling and / or emptying the dishwasher, and sometimes buying groceries?
You better believe I feel like fire when I do one thing, that one thing was likely in the works for several days.
I didn’t think I was neurospicy until I was late in my 30s. There’s loads of conditions it’s always worth spending a few minutes looking at symptoms in adults.
I’ve started to judge my life not by my productivity but by how often I choose to love myself. Much more reasonable in the long run.
I love myself every chance I get. Sometimes twice a day.

I have a to-do list with just one checkmark on it. The list was made after the thing checked off was done. I then extended the list backwards a month and added another thing checked off to show myself it wasn’t a complete fluke.
