My home office setup:
- Planck v7 board
- Drop + Matt30 MT3 Susuwatari keycaps
- Gazzew U4T switches
- Pimoroni Keybow Mini (with kiwi to control smart-devices)
- Handmade leather wrist rest for ergonomics
Thank you! It was my very first leather project.
For filling I used poly-pellets, they’re little plastic pellets used for stuffing bean-bags and to add weight to stuffed animals. I didn’t stuff it to the brim, but left some room so I could squish the rest to fit my wrists nicely.
There are specific leather needles that are a bit larger than normal needles to accommodate the thicker material and thread. I picked up a set at my local Michael’s for like $5.
For the thread, I used this which is a waxed leather thread that I liked the color of.
