It’s funny to see how the fans keep track of continuities and rules (and retcons) Warhammer and 40K supposed to have and there have been word of the authors clashing with headcanons. It got exarcebated when there are “lore” channels that just doesn’t know what the fuck they’re talking about without sources, and all based on vibes and taking the faction too seriously.

Not that it really matters because GW is giving lore and retcons them to serve as side dressings to sell plastic crack for their tabletop games.

At the very least have the post author mark it as having AI involvement. Idk if there’s an equivalent to reddit automoderator but any new app sharing post should be autoreplied by the automod to mark AI involvement.

in my south east Asian country, back then we did have bundle sms pricing, buy when the mobile internet infrastructure was getting big money from governments, WhatsApp came in at the right moment. advertising them being free (with a minimal $1 or something lifetime fee nobody bothered to pay for) and can do texting and sending images for free. compared to paying bundled prices for sms and MMS, it’s just a no-brainer.

Oh it’s like that shoe company declaring they are an AI company.

The reason I say young ones is because it’s unfortunately on TikTok and they erroneously calls them “edits”.

The Fediverse is utopian but I don’t think anyone here really believes it will ever be anything more than a cluster of fringe communities.

A lot of people like it this way but I really don’t. What I wished happened during the last few reddit exodus was what happened back in around 2010 when digg users ran away to back-then-new reddit. The good thing about the fediverse is that people can actually choose instances they like that defedrates from content they don’t like. I’m a hypocrite if I say I don’t agree with that.

But somehow something must have changed with internet users between the digg-to-reddit exodus to newreddit-to-fediverse exoduses (weird that my auto-complete says this is the correct plural form) and not a lot of people want to contribute for making content. I’m pointing at myself as well so sometimes I do ponder why I don’t be the change I want.

Gist of it is I want reddit circa 2010-2015 on the threadiverse specifically (as I don’t use the micro-blogging side) but it’s having trouble attaining good people that are willing to contribute time and energy to make worthwhile content.

Don’t worry, more and more banks are going to apps where they “outsource” all security to Apple and Google on their respective phone OS security implementation. At least on android, the apps will detect if accessibility functions (and developer’s options) are turned on and will refuse to run the app. Who even needs accessibility right? Like there’s no less able bodied people using smartphones. And what’s that? It’s your phone? No, silly customer, we banks must protect you from getting scammed by policing your device. It’s the bank’s property. You bought that phone on financing anyways, so it really isn’t your property.
