Sorry for the newbie question, but how is your nextcloud setup automated? Is that like a compose/yaml file?

Just like “reading the rules” for each community. Stop wasting everyone’s time with boilerplate bullshit that shouldn’t need to be said, like treat people with respect, no spamming, etc. If there are community specific rules to adhere to, put them front and center.

Also, NFTs. Wasn’t there a supposed use case for contract authenticity or something?

On the other hand, he directed Titanic, which probably also had tech advances, but is recognized more for the story. Is that a fair observation? I was still a kid when it came out, so I know less about it than Avatar.

What does DE mean in this context?

LFG?

Good to know, thank you!
It wasn’t very clear, but that was based on other people’s comments; I haven’t gotten to installing either of them. (I need to get on it lol).
But that makes sense. I saw people say just don’t auto update, because it is early days like you said.

I’m getting my first server up and running and always considered getting immich. But lately I’m leaning towards photoprism because of updates breaking immich sometimes apparently and photoprism being more mature(?).
Why do you want to switch?

Can you expand on that or ELI5?

I’m the same way, but I only have about 6k Screenshots, so I have a lot of work ahead of me.
Add a sheet of moist paper towel over any baked goods when warming up in the microwave. This counteracts the microwave removing moisture. Leftover pizza tastes way better. Maybe fries too?

How would Russia have surpassed the US and China? What did they have that would have contributed to that superiority? I realize that is a massive question, but to a a casual observer, that seems curious.

Pretty interesting and always impressive what technical marvels humans have creates. This is a rare glimpse into such a machine from the past.

Sounds intriguing. Could you send some screenshots or point me in the direction where I can learn some tips and tricks, so to speak?

Why did they do that actually? What were they trying to gain? Provoke the war machine and point it at their rivals?

For anyone else who didn’t recognize those initialisms:
The European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) and its European Court of Human Rights are part of a completely different legal system to the EU. The ECHR and its court are part of the Council of Europe, which has 47 member states, including Russia and the UK. The EU, on the other hand, consists of 27 Member States.
The European Court of Justice (ECJ) is the body responsible for overseeing compliance with EU law within the EU. That said, the EU and Council of Europe systems are intertwined because the ECHR lies behind many of the general principles of EU law and its provisions have been used as a basis for the EU’s Charter of Fundamental Rights. All 27 EU member states are also members of the Council of Europe.

The tech itself isn’t secret, both sides use it. With Russia being ahead apparently. From the article:
A video from a Russian military Telegram channel from last month demonstrates their ominous capability. A fibre optic drone, the nose of the yellow cylinder housing the coil clearly visible, flies with precision a few centimetres from the ground, to strike a Ukrainian howitzer concealed in a barn, a location clearly previously considered safe.
But as Fedorenko acknowledges, it is Russia that, at least for now, “is well ahead of us” – largely because Moscow has had greater access to fibre optic cabling, with Ukraine scrambling to catch up.
