Probably a stupid question, but my thought when seeing that water vapor is wondering if we could do like we do with a desalination method where the water vapor rises and then drips back down into its water form again?

Is it possible to do something like that there? Have a dome/other structure directly above the vents where the water vapor comes from to capture it or most of it, and then that eventually drips the water back into a reservoir and then goes back into the original source for water? It would be cleaner too as an added benefit, right?
