He had a bob tail and no teeth, he had been bounced around between shelter & foster, adopted out and returned before he came to us. So happy we could give him his forever home even though we had him less than two years. He was my boy and I miss him every day. He was just happy to be there, wherever that was. Even our grumpy older female cat seemed to love him.

You shared your home and your heart with Wheatley, knowing that you wouldn’t have enough time with him. That level of love and strength is remarkable, and I’m so happy that you two found each other. Missing Wheatley with you.

Thank you for giving Wheatley the greatest gift we can give to cats; the certainty that they are safe and loved.

Yeah if I would lay on the floor he would come lay next to me and roll over on his side/back until I started rubbing his belly. 🥲

Aww. Well I think it’s very important to remember all those belly rubs you were able to provide. He must have felt safe and loved for that.

He looked like my old Loulou. Loulou is alive but getting on in years. He lives his retirement with my dad now. Big hugs. To Wheatley !

So glad you could give him a loving home and warmth in the final part of his life. He went out knowing he was loved and doted on and that’s the highest kind of accolade you can earn with cats. World needs more such people.

Thank you, we didn’t know how little time we’d have with him when we got him. He was still pretty young.
