- I listened to an audiobook with a main character who had that name (The Rook by Daniel O’Malley) and the narrator pronounced it in a way that rhymed with Tiffany - Yeah I say Mu Fan Way but as a scot with no Welsh relatives that’s probably completely wrong - /məˈvɑːn.wi/ is what Wiktionary says, it’s like muh-van-wy
